MB Gordy Percussion – Boobams – Future Music
“In many respects this is a pretty simple instrument, but its usefulness has been expanded by providing ensemble options (where hits are layered, and triggered with variable timing between hits) and the extensive effects and processing options. These are nicely demonstrated with the provided snapshots that extend its range into more unusual distorted or reverberant territory.”

Water Piano – Future Music
“This might just sound like a gimmick, but with a single control a pleasant-sounding piano is transformed into its more muted and odder alter-echo. The lower registers transform into something akin to a palm-muted piano, whilst higher keys continue to ring out in a more conventional way.”
“The real winner for me here is the Freeze parameter which adds an infinitely sustaining granular/reverb layer to the ‘straight’ samples. Even better is that it’s also controlled by the amp envelope and sustain pedal allowing you to create playable slabs of ‘frozen’ piano that cut off between each chord. More conventional reverb can be added, and further processing on top this takes place in the Console page.”
“Water Piano is fun and flexible but also high usable.”

MB Gordy Percussion – Boobams – Sample Library Review
“I’m loving the instrument. It’s melodic percussion, but it really does kinda take it out somewhere real special with the console and the fx chains you can use; the snapshots are really great. And of course, this is the first time this instrument’s been recorded, and it is a secret weapon.”

Tape Sculptor – Emlyn in the Mix
“Is this the only tape emulation you’ll ever need? In my mind, yes…it’s light on the CPU, it’s got a beautiful GUI with graphics going so you can see what’s happening…it helps you to understand what this tape emulation is actually doing…this is a wonderful plug-in; well-developed, well-designed, fantastic to see…all of the effects on this plug-in sound really high class.”
Tape Sculptor – Studio Life
“I can make it sound like really high-end tape – beautiful sheen, or I could make it sound like a grungy old, 7 inches per second ruined tape, or anywhere in between, and also get some really cool effects out of it…this is, I think, possibly, the best tape emulator I’ve heard that’s useful for more than just emulating tape.”
Water Piano – Simeon Amburgey
“I’m really surprised at all of the dynamic layers that you can get into it. It’s kind of like a muted piano, but the mute is because of the physical water is in there, muting the strings and the damper…it’s unusual, but beautiful…”
Water Piano – The Sampleist
“It’s very versatile considering all the effects you can put into it, the ways you can change and wrangle the sound, and influence it. I really think this is a library that really opens the door to more sound design options for a piano within the library itself. To be honest, I think for the money, it’s well worth it, especially if you’re willing to take some time to really toy with the sound and record your own…You can really make some high-quality stuff that can be used in films, games, trailers, you name it. I already saved a patch while doing this video and I can see myself doing more.”
Tape Sculptor – Czar
“…while it has the features you would expect from a tape plug-in, this one goes a lot further giving you a lot more options and ability to tweak and alter your sound than really any other tape plug-in that I have seen…this ‘Degrade,’ ‘Chew,’ ‘Loss’ – not something that I would reach for a lot, obviously using a tape plug-in, but if you have this, it’s nice to have that option because some of those things that, I feel like you never know when you would need it, especially if you’re looking to create a interesting effect. So definitely this goes well past what typical tape plug-ins do, making me a fan of it.”

Tape Sculptor – Tim Talks Audio
“But really, there’s a lot of flexibility, there’s a lot of different things you can do within Tape Sculptor, but you don’t have to; you can engage or disengage any of the different modules to get the sound you’re going for…”
Tape Sculptor – Implied Music
“The harder you drive it, the more it responds and the saturation and compressor starts to act differently…it’s replacing things that I might do with EQ and compression, but in a really interesting, specific way and it’s sort of program-material specific…I like digital gear that acts analog; that you can push too hard, that you can break. That responds in a way that feels lively and animated that helps my performing.”
Tokyo Scoring Drum Kits – Watanabe Junya
“This library is simply the best concept. If you are looking for Japanese drum sounds, there is nothing better.”
Tokyo Scoring Drum Kits – DTMer
“Compared to libraries like Addictive Drums, BFD, Superior Drummer and others like them, the raw sound of [TSDK] stands out in a good way with the drum & room tone… These kits are overflowing with technique. Combined with the drum ensemble, you can create music exactly like top Japanese productions.”
