Tokyo Scoring Strings Contest - 2024

In October 2024, Tokyo Scoring Strings 2.0 was released: a total overhaul of our flagship string library including reprocessed and reengineered samples, new mixes, UI and feature additions, brand new legato and playback scripts, and more, making it easier than ever to get a natural, expressive performance.

In celebration, we invited users to take part in a musical challenge using the newly released Tokyo Scoring Strings Free to create an original composition no longer than 90 seconds in any style or genre, using any other libraries or sounds as long as TSS Free was the featured library and the only string library. We received over 100 submissions from around the world.

We are so pleased to share the winners of this competition! Our first-place winner received a free copy of Tokyo Scoring Strings Complete; two runners-up received a free copy of Tokyo Scoring Strings Essentials; two honorable mention winners received Loyalty Points.
