Pearl Concert Grand – The Audio Spotlight

“There is a lot of that sound in Pearl that I have been looking for in a piano library. Mainly the fact that it doesn’t sound boomy and doesn’t have the same annoying frequencies constantly bugging me that have been annoying me with some other libraries. This is a very difficult thing to review though as it is a very subjective matter. For me this piano library is a very welcomed addition because it makes my job easier when I don’t have to fool around with the EQ constantly anymore.” (4.4/5)

Shreddage 3 Jupiter – Sample Library Review

“Good times or hard times, it always comes though. The library has the personality, sound and feel that makes it to the final cut every time. There’s just enough content and depth to handle almost every conceivable guitar part, lead or rhythm.”

Shreddage 3 Abyss – Sample Library Review

“Out of the box I was thrilled with the sound and to be honest I don’t tweak out the settings that much to get a performance for the tracks I am creating. Though it definitely leans towards an instrument for metal or rock I have found the instrument works well for just about any kind of music…it has become my go-to electric virtual bass instrument if I am creating rock, metal or a dark score that need a bit of low end and attitude.”

Ventus Winds Shakuhachi – Sample Library Review

“The warm sound of the Shakuhachi is as authentic an experience as you can get unless you play the real thing. The inclusion of True Legato, multiple sustains trills and ornaments as well as the breath sounds make this an absolutely beautiful playing experience. The uses for the Shakuhachi transcend beyond traditional Japanese Classical music and meditation pieces. This is a serious instrument for use in movie scores, trailers, electronic, pop and is particularly effective when paired with the Impact Sound Works [sic] Koto Nation.”

Mega Brass – Sample Library Review

“The true potential of the library lies in it’s profound capability to sit in a mix with other brass libraries…The library would certainly fit the likes of a trailer composer over a film composer because of it’s intense, aggressive, and quite intrusive sound. Yet, the library brings something new that is different, but also similar to some of it’s recent competition.”

Shou Drum – Sample Library Review

“With Shou Drum, Impact Soundworks deliver a deep yet intuitive tonal metal instrument that excels at arpeggiated patterns and hypnotic ostinatos making it a great tool for ambient tracks or creating unique textures.”

Ventus Winds Bansuri – Sample Library Review

“When I started working with the Bansuri, I immediately took note of the realistic haunting and breathy sound of the sampled Bansuri. This is as authentic a playing experience as you can get unless you play the real thing…The Ventus Bansuri is clearly at home in traditional Indian music but would also be a suitable tool for film scores that call [for] an Indian theme or it could even be used as a voice in ambient and meditational music.”

Koron – Sample Library Review

“KORON was an immediate addition to my template as it filled a huge void. When it comes to authenticity, this library really shines at capturing the true character of these rare instruments. I love the performances, especially the percussion, as those just can’t be recreated with the multi-sampled libraries out there.”

Ventus Winds Tin Whistle – Sample Library Review

“What I really like about this library is the detail that has gone into capturing all the interesting nuances of the instrument and how these can be brought in with the ornament dial to add a sense of realism to this instrument. It definitely adds an authenticity to it, and helps you get the performance you want out of it.”

Ventus Winds Ocarinas – Sample Library Review

“I would absolutely recommend this instrument to any media composer. It’s always the niche sounds that no one ever thinks they need, until they need it. The ocarina is no exception and Impact Soundworks has done a fantastic job creating a truly wonderful instrument.”
