Streamlined articulation system
We’ve distilled the maximum impact for every section to a single articulation – THE HIT – so you don’t need to worry about any articulation switching whatsoever. (Take it from us: this impact sound works!)
Eight tutti orchestral sections
Includes strings, brass, winds, timpani, bass drum, cymbals, synthesizers, and piano, all lovingly and carefully orchestrated (where possible) with multiple octaves.
Two powerful dynamics
Switch between forte and fortissimo dynamics per section with the click of a button. No other dynamics are necessary.
Detailed sampling... or not
Play several octaves of sampled range across sections, or engage “Stretch Last Note” to play the last-played hit combination pitch-shifted, effectively turning OHS: HIT into the ultimate 90s Orchestral Hit ROMpler.

"Impact Soundworks' range of guitars and fretted instruments sound amazing and are crafted and nuanced with expert detail. Intuitively set up to get straight to composing. And I have a real soft spot for the juicy, screaming Shreddage 3 Hydra!"

Impact Soundworks make detailed, emotive instruments. I’ve happily bought over two dozen of their libraries which should say everything. They get used every day.

"ISW creates amazing, creative, and intuitive virtual instruments! I’ve enjoyed using them for over a decade, and they have found their way into many of my music scores. Their wonderfully realistic world instruments showed up in a recent Nexon video game, Shreddage 3 Stratus on the score for Grid, and Super Audio Boy is a favorite for retro sounds, effects, and fun nostalgia. Highly recommended!"
Epic. Glorious. Explosive. Intense. As April approached, we asked ourselves what could possibly top 2024’s Shredder, with its powerful voice and in-your-face presence. There was only one answer: the most high-intensity sound in all of music…
The Orchestra Hit.
When Igor Stravinsky invented the Orchestra Hit in 1910*, could he possibly have known that his creation would cross so many genres — that this hit would transcend the orchestra?
For decades, composers and songwriters have been constrained to whatever sample (ready-made and distinctly uncustomizable) of an Orchestra Hit had been made available to them in synthesizers. But that simply isn’t how we do things at Impact Soundworks; we like to spin knobs and press buttons until we’ve made a sound completely our own! So we thought we’d bring our signature level of customization and control to the Orchestra Hit, so it’s not just an orchestra hit… It’s a whole Orchestral Hit System.

Testimonial – Jimmy ‘Big Giant Circles’ Hinson (Black Ops 4, Borderlands 2, Threes)
“Between Shreddage, Super Audio Cart, Juggernaut, and Mega Brass I don’t remember the last time I haven’t used an Impact Soundworks instrument in a track. The attention to detail is astonishing and it’s all so easy to use out of the box, which is a big deal.”
