Classic 90s USA anime theme mocked up with Shreddage X! Shows off hammered legato, tremolo picking, vibrato, hard sustains and right hand release stops. Amps used: Guitar Rig 4 only.
Mockup of a classic metal riff by the band Firewind. Insanely fast picking handled easily by Shreddage and masterful tone crafting by Sixto Sounds using only virtual amps. Uses mostly original Shreddage samples and the new portamento slides.
Quad-tracked mockup of "Self vs. Self" by Pendulum and In Flames. Killer drum n' bass meets metal. Shows off the new vibrato articulation and hard picks, as well as true Bb tuning!
Composed by Robert Santolupo, this demo shows off the truly brutal and heavy side of Shreddage X and its new articulations. Powerful and ultra-gritty tone!
Unleash the power of Shreddage with this brĂ¼tal expansion pack! Note: The original Shreddage is required to use this library.
The long-awaited upgrade to our blockbuster electric rhythm guitar library, Shreddage! We’ve added hundreds of new samples, new articulations, new downtuning and no-brainer legato/slide scripting to make this upgrade into a true harbinger of the apocalypse. For owners of the original Shreddage with KONTAKT 4!
Since releasing the original Shreddage: Electric Rhythm Guitar library, we've received tons of feedback from happy users saying we've done what none of their other guitar samples could do: create truly realistic rhythm riffs for rock and metal. But we're not one to rest on our laurels, so we set to work researching ways we could make this secret weapon more realistic, more expressive and more METAL than ever.
The result is Shreddage X, an apocalyptic culmination of pure rock power, tempered through the flames of Mt. Doom. We started by lowering the tuning even further, going from Bb to Ab (the "A" is for "Armaggedon".) We added non-pinched vibrato on every note, for even more expressive performances, then recorded traditional harmonics (with no vibrato) as well as blazing tremolo picking.
But we didn't stop there. Shreddage X includes true recorded portamento slides on every single note and powerchord, up to an octave. The portamento time can be reduced to create more subtle legato transitions, eliminated, or kept at max to create dramatic custom slides and dives.
All this newfound power would be for naught if it were hard to use, so we reprogrammed the patches and kept them as easy to use as ever. There is still no need to memorize complex keyswitches, excessive midi CC automation or pedal futzing. Just load up the master patch and prepare to have your face melted.
Note that Shreddage X is only available in Kontakt 4 format. Anything less was just not metal enough for our new scripting and functionality!
A classic metal guitar run through a pristine, high-end Avalon DI at 24/96, downsampled to 24/44.1. Many strings were harmed in the making of this library. We've also expanded the set of included high-quality custom virtual amp/cab presets and impulses to help you get an amazing tone in no time at all.

"There's really not much I can fault here. There is an impeccable attention to detail and some very good programming behind these instruments that makes them hard to resist. This is especially worth a look if you need a rhythm guitar in your arrangements but lack a real player or the ability to play it yourself. Very convincing and very playable! 10/10"

I heard legato / portamento at the beginning of the video.(I may have missed it)
